Which are the best seats for watching boxing at York Hall?
There are good viewpoints from most areas of the hall and it is a great venue to watch boxing. The seats on the balcony directly above the ring are much-favoured but you have to arrive early to bag one of these, and then stay put!
There is a seating plan on the website (there is a link on the tickets page). With ‘floor and balcony’ tickets you can sit anywhere outside the barriered-off ringside area. These seats cannot be reserved. Ringside seats have the advantage (apart from being even closer to the action) that if you book direct with Left Jab, particular seats can be reserved for you if you wish (subject to availability). Book the tickets online as normal and/or email, text or call (the Left Jab hotline 07825 795616) with any specific requests. Front Row tickets booked online include champagne and beer in the York Hall 'Green Room' from doors open to first bell - but these tickets are limited in number, so check availability first, before booking.
Are drinks and refreshments available at York Hall?
The bar will be open before and throughout the show. You can’t see the boxing from the bar though, and drinks cannot be taken into the body of the hall. York Hall offers a selection of hot and cold meals available to be purchased throughout the show, including: sandwiches, pasta tubs, bangers and mash, roasted vegetable lasagne, beef madras curry and rice, thai green chicken curry with rice, chicken chinese and vegetable noodles; all in easy to handle packaging.
Can I buy tickets over the ‘phone?
We can’t take payments over the phone. Google Checkout offers secure transactions online and this method is preferred. If this presents a major problem, give us a call.
Tickets ordered online are posted out by Royal Mail 1st class, or nearer a show will be collectable at York Hall from the advertised ‘doors open’ time. The Google Checkout option on the website will indicate this at the time of booking.
There are no hidden charges with Left Jab online booking. There is no commission, and no charge for 'postage and packing' - you will pay the face price of the ticket.
It's cash only for any tickets bought on the door on the day.
